Where is Bali?

Bali, Indonesia is a 95-mile wide located at the westernmost end of the Lesser Sunda Islands, between Java to the west and Lombok to the east. It’s capital is Denpasar, though there are other popular islands, particularly in the south part – Seminyak, Kuta, Ubud and Uluwatu – which are very popular among tourists.

What to do in Bali?

La Plancha

Location: Mesari Beach, Jalan Dhyana Pura, Seminyak

Located at Seminyak area, La Plancha is a perfect place to watch the sunset with a Bintang beer or your favorite cocktail. You feel the vibrancy of the island and the people around you, coming from around the world, with the colors of the bean bags and the Balinese umbrellas scattered around the beach area.

Almost every corner in Bali speaks of spirituality. There’s an offering in every street and there are temples everywhere. Its no wonder a lot of tourists flock here to practice yoga and meditation.

One of the most iconic places to visit is in Ubud, where the rice patties and birds play music to your mind. Here in Ubud Yoga House, the signage at the entrance is a welcome respite for beginners and advanced students alike. You will definitely find solace and tranquility after your session.

From surfing, diving, mountaineering to yoga and meditation, Bali is truly the island of the gods.

From an overnight stay in Nusa Penida to a rejuvenating yoga session in Ubud, you can choose a wide variety of activities with the service of a private transport.

Eating Local Food

The best thing about Balinese food is that its both Indonesian and Fusion in flavor.  A must try is their Babi Guling at Pak Malen.

The crunchiness of the pork will remind you of a Cebu lechon or your favorite roasted pork in a hawker stall in Singapore.

The spiciness of the sauce will complement all the flavors of pork and braised vegetables mixed with rice.

Its like Bali served on a plate.

Bali will always maintain its mystery and allure. More than the culture and the food it offers, Bali’s people are humble, gentle and unbelievably shy, its hard to imagine that the number #1 industry in this island is tourism, attracting more than 4 million foreign visitors each year.
